FAQ
I have been called in for questioning as a witness. Can I bring a lawyer?
Yes, a witness is entitled to legal assistance from a lawyer during questioning. It is best to talk to a lawyer beforehand: they will explain your rights and which questions you may decline to answer.
What should I do if law enforcement arrives with a search?
Stay calm, ask to see the document authorising the search and call your lawyer straight away. Do not sign the record without reading it, and write down your objections.
Do you represent victims as well as suspects?
Yes. We help victims file a complaint, push for a real investigation and bring a civil claim for compensation.
When should I contact a lawyer?
As early as possible, ideally before the first interview or as soon as you learn about the proceedings. Time limits in criminal cases are short, and mistakes made early on are hard to fix later.
